Re: 198Plus build
Better hurry up and get it done before gas hit $6 a gal and you won't be able to drive it. Looks nice. I think I'm going to go with the 2.2 liter.

Re: 198Plus build
What brake line kit do I need to order for my 65 truck, it has disc brakes and a 1971 12 bolt rear end........Also I'm getting ready to install my trans cross member, I was going to set my engine angle at 4 degrees...Does that sound right....

Re: 198Plus build
It should match the angle of your diff flange at ride height, if your diff is at 4 degrees then set the engine at 4 degrees

Re: 198Plus build
Not much going on with my truck, getting ready to start a big back window swap on it....Here's a project going on at my shop, 1968 Charger 383 car. It's a pretty straight car to start out with, getting new lower quarters and a complete paint job. Car was on Pass Time a couple years ago here in Atlanta.

Re: 198Plus build
Sneak peek.......Charger coming out of the paint booth tomorrow........Spent a lot of time on this one, it's razor straight. After all priming and blocking was done car went in booth for sealer then 2 coats of base and clear, then brought out and wet sanded. Then received 3 more coats of base and 3 more coats clear.....Wet Sanding and buffing starts soon.

Re: 198Plus build
Nice job on the Charger
I wish I still had my Charger... It was an actual stunt car from The Duke of Hazzard show that I traded my 70 SS Chevelle for back in 84. Boy was I stupid when I was young... You do great work. Wish I was closer to have you paint my truck Tony Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by AZ66GMC; 04-07-2011 at 12:11 AM. |
