my daily driver
 actually looks pretty good from that far away. anyways its a 1990 c1500 i picked up a bit over 7 years ago for $300. had 172k on it now its around 220k, been a very trouble free truck not afraid to drive it anywhere |

Here's my toys, usually hang out on the OLD trucks (lol) board... 88 with mild lowering, 18" wheels, 383 stroker, 700r4, 4:10 gears, lots of little things, fun to blast around in, actually thinking about selling this one to buy another 50's truck.....maybe 56 GMC all stock, 235 6cyl, 3 on the tree, full frame off about 20 yrs ago still holding together

I have gone through all the previous bodystyles of GM truck. This is my first GMT400. It's a one owner 93 K2500 with a 454. It was involved in a minor front collision that bent the bumper and hood and cracked the grille. With 250k miles on it the insurance company totaled it. New bumper, grille, and cowl hood and its back on the road(with a salvage title). This beast ain't getting recycled into a damn Prius.

In 2012 a month before I was to load truck and tools in a 40 ft can to go and live in New Zealand, a tree fell on my 92' A new bonnet and windscreen and she was fine.
5 yrs later I'm rebuilding the 454 and in the process of doing a frame off restoration. I'll add pics when I learn how.

Found this in a local FB add. 1997 1500 Sierra. 350/4L60E 4x4 Z71 short bed. The transmission is most likely out, but for $500.....I could not pass it up! Pick it up next Friday!!!

here's my '97 Sierra, daily driver. Recently imported from San Jose. A clean tidy truck with the usual bumps and scrapes. 5.7 Vortec and 700R. All original with a bit of lowering. Have a couple of plans, but mostly get plenty of miles behind the wheel...   Cheers, David |
