Great job on the bedsides Mike, I have a stud welder as well but have yet to use it. I will be using it a lot on the rear of my cab.

I quit keeping track of the hours. Keeps my motivation going better not thinking about how much work is still to come and how much time I have into a project.

Thanks Jason! I quit setting dates. I always miss the deadline. I'm hoping to get some paint on it soon. Then Hopefully it will go fast from there.

Still installing upper and lower trim. The RH bed side is from a 68. It had the steps. It also had a roll bar. More Holes to fill.

WOW! You sure have come a long way... Fantastic work on that bed. I bet you're glad to be almost done with that. :-) and your bud's truck (CrashOK) is sick! If I ever do put trim back on my truck it'll be jsut the lower like he did. Anyway... Can't wait to see yours in paint! Keep at it!

Great work! Just keep at it. I finally got mine off the property and under it's own power to a show. It isn't done yet, but at least it runs and moves.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Looks good! I always wondered about the effect cutting most of that support piece out would have on the structural integrity of the bed. Boxing it in is a great solution.
