Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
Thanks everyone! No TOTM, maybe a RITW (Re-Inventing The Wheel) award Next week looks like some decent weather, might be driving some more and I'll try for another photo shoot Maybe the mirrors, badges and tailgate trim will be on too. Looking at the pics, def could use some new shoes.

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
Thanks man! My brother did the drilling btw. We readjusted valve lash (pics above) and replaced the valve cover gaskets with thick Fel-Pro #375-1604 gaskets.

What happened to all the pics of your truck? They aren't showing up anymore.

Times have changed it seems. Not a lot of activity in the Projects thread. Did everyone up and take off?

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
I think your right. Spring break. Those pics are showing for me. Maybe try a different browser. Plan on taking the 71' to its first car wash this weekend (if it doesn't rain) since being painted. I'm getting lazy in my old age

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
Maybe if it's nice I'll try and snap some pics after the wash. Man, I've still got small stuff left to do. Like put the badges on, hook up the radio, re-torque engine nuts/bolts and change the oil another time after break-in.

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
First one I've missed in while. We park just up there on the right. Some of the Arkie's were there.
Where's your truck?

I'm not a member yet. My truck is right next to me.
You can't tell - but the pic above is looking in from outside a locked gate/fence off of Dean Ave. I believe it was.

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
I enjoy this show because we can park, sit in a lawn chair, and watch the cruisers.
