Raull,

Truck is looking great man and I really like the look of the edelbrock intake. I had a feeling you might have problems with the A/C compressor. At least it is on its own belt so, theoretically, you can place it almost anywhere in that general area and build brackets if needed.

Re: 1971 c10 stepside

Some how or another I lost track of this thread, (I've got way to much stuff going on)...you've made great progress Raul! I can't wait to see this in person. Have you checked into the Holley LS bracket setup? I'm thinking about using that on mine. Once I get the new motor/tranny in my 68 installed, I plan on taking a road trip down south,

Raul was at my house thursday to watch the heat game and take some measurements of my engine compartment seems like the way the motor is sitting it is not allowing for some lines to fit where they have to go thru from what I understood. The motor may be sitting too high also and his intake may hit the hood. I better let him explain as he has that puerto rican inguinity flowing thru his head

Re: 1971 c10 stepside

the engine sat perfect in the compartment , its the accessory drive kit that i want to use the problem , the compressor idler pulley hits the rack and pinion and the compressor been way at the bottom also it hits the engine mounts cradles , no biggie little set back thats all , Justin said he'll have them done for me in a day or so
