Do you have a time frame for each stage of the build per say or are you guys just wingin it? I know that sema is a long ways away but im sure its coming up fast for someone building from the ground up..

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

i made a simulair remark during the final trash of cloud 9 , its hard to put a timeframe on a build as there allways changes and murphy lurking around the corner , all you can shoot for is trying to finish about 3 weeks before sema and hope you calculated enough extra time in with that 3 weeks
same with budget take the highest one and multiply by 3 and you close to the real costs

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts

I will answer all of these at one time.....NO.. LOL, I work 6 days a week 10 hours a day at my real job, and then with 2 kids playing sports and all it really blows any structure right out of the water....IT WILL BE DONE for SEMA...how ? I don't have a clue! I am about to the every night until midnight stage. I have to get all this fabrication done so I can get the other parts to the right people so I don't kill them ie...Kyle "ScreamingChevy" at his shop Laid Back ReCreations will be handling all the paint and body work and I am trying to be very aware of his time and everyone elses that this build will depend on ! Stay tuned, I am sure it will be a fun ride !

The reason I laughed is because even the best laid plans always give way to reality. Murphy never takes a day off.

i cant remember if youre using a rack and pinion system like with the porterbuilt dropmember or the more original chevy stuff

Always nice to have fresh wires going in your project, especially when you get to pick out the routing. Going to be slick!

On a recent trip I rented a new Infiniti G37 sedan. I felt like an idiot walking back inside to ask where the key went. The phantom key setup from Painless is too cool!

Well I don't normally show all my SCREW-UPS but since DR. Longbed pointed it out...... and he was right, I thought it was just an optical illusion , but when I got it off the frame table and stood back, it was totally off ! Here is the progress to fix the screw up !
