i messed up and told him make it 20" and i need 21" for the stock cover to hold it. i'm gonna see if Billy or someone can weld aluminum and put a 1 1/2" spacer on the bottom... always something.

yep, duel core duel pass. i'm not sure how thick the cores are though.

thanks for the offer buddy. my neighbor going to take it to work today. i made a nice 1'' aluminum spacer the same size as whats on there. should work perfect.

man thats a good idea but the way it sits in the core support i have to use the stock rubber mounts. i'm pretty sure there wont be an issue with the warranty as long as i'm not welding on the radiator itself.

That is a SWEET looking radiator! I can weld aluminum in a pinch, shipping might eat your lunch but I would weld the spacer if you want to send it to me.

Dennis, that thing looks nice. It will really look good in Silver. I will also mention to you that there are people on here with access to CNC and other fab equipment. Maybe they can just build you a spacer of sorts that could just sit under the radiator. I would not weld on it if you can help it. I would be afraid to for the chance of a warranty issue down the road.

btw, yesterday was a full day! Draggin86 drew up plans for a custom mount with casters for the cab. it turned out SWEET! the cab rolls around with just your fingertips i'll post pics of it and all the firewall progress later. had an awesome time yesterday! by the end of the day it was like a big block party around here with all the neighbors

its Amy's birthday today and i havent got her anything so i gotta go see if i can salvage my screw up and have a surprise waiting for her before she wakes up!

Nice work! Those things are handy. Now you can make some extensions to go on the back of it so you can roll the cab on it's back to make it easier to work on the bottom of the floor. I made some for my 68, but I don't have any pics of it on it's back.

Progress is looking great my friend. Hopefully I will have some time to get back on mine here in the next couple weeks. Stinks when it's almost ready to fire and cant find time to get out there and make it happen.

I second that, I am in the last stages and just too tired when I get off work or have to do honey do's because I have worked 12hrs a day! WORK STINKS!! But your truck is lookin good dude! Keep it up!

well, i got the firewall all finished up last night! i just need to sand down inside the cowl area and the painter can come get the cab probably tonight i'll get some pics up after work today
