Re: "Rice Rocket'
under seat speaker enclosure? Not 100% sure on this, but on any boxes I build I always put poly fill (think cotton balls or pillow stuffing) inside. It helps make a deeper sound and tricks the speaker into thinking it is in a bigger box than it really is. Also helps stop vibrations and any "tinny" sound you'd get from the tubes...

Re: "Rice Rocket'
87chevysilverado is a WINNER!
Yeah, I'll put a small amp inside it and hold it to the front rack of ATV with some BIG worm clamps wrapped in electrical tape (will look really clean). And its awesome to be blasting thru the woods VA, I dont even have speakers in my truck..

Re: "Rice Rocket'
Went to the junkyard today. I meant to take a pic of alt. bracket for ricky but I forgot. Its a driver side alt. but not the usual 67-72 style. Its really diff. I'll try to find a pic for ricky.
Anyway I was trying to get a sport bumper off, but the bolts were SUPER rusty and hard to get. It also had a hitch Im trying to get off too Ive got it all loose except 1 bolt that I stripped. Im going to sawzall it No pictures, sorry. How do I calculate MPG? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=445711

Re: "Rice Rocket'
Oh, and me and the gf about had another wreck today...
Some idiot was pulling out of his parking space (probably in his moms explorer lol) Anyway, ya know how parking lots are kinda 1 way lanes? Anyhow, he backed into his space/cut through it and I was going the right way (probably a LITTLE bit fast because I was one of the first people to leave) But he pulled out and I slammed on my brakes and slid? (Should it have done that)? Thought id share that... (I was like H$LL NO, Im NOT gonna have to find a hood/pass fender and slammed my brakes!) LOL I'll get pix of small skid mark tomorow if I can lol

Re: "Rice Rocket'
for mpg i fill the truck up record mileage, drive until half tank, fill up and divide the gallons it took to fill it back up by the miles that you have drove since the fill up.
and i wouldn't worry about the slide lots of the pre abs stuff locked the wheels under heavy brakeing at least my trucks do
