Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
I will but I'll install on new glovebox door so as not to destroy the original or to ruin Blues true bloodline

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
i cant wait to make some REAL progress on the 67. this stuff is baby stuff. details and all the little stuff pull a truck together.... but i dont think its really the details that make my truck kind of bland.. certainly doesnt help having a bed with all the dents mine has! although my truck does catch peoples attention. when im going through an intersection i can see peoples heads turn and follow the truck.. i wonder sometimes though... is it the dents or the stupid grin on my face? haha either way i love the truck. just want more for it.. but thats up to me

well took some pics of the interior, i got the glove box door on and i also went ot go pressure wash the rear frame since the bed floor is back out. and this guy pulled up to the stall next to me. and later on i was getting gas when this guy showed up.... ok Rene wasnt in there but it was his son.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
took the truck to my senior year prom with my girlfriend and have just been driving it. also a shot from 2011 c/10 get together show that i took it to, it made it in the magazine! and as for progress, i havent put oil in the truck for about 9 days now and still good oil pressure! and for more progress.... in about a month or so i will be out of high school, and as of now im in the process of making my rear disc brake brackets, so before school ends im going to get those knocked out and done so during the summer i can do the disc brake rear swap. does anyone know which proportioning valve i should buy for aa disc/disc set up? and theres one more little thing ive got under my sleeve that im going to be making in my shop class for the 67.... but thats a surprise ... anyways enought talk heres som shots.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
and more.
PS i also added 1 extra strip of weather stipping to each to the doors at the top and down the the window area for a little extra protection. im vey pleased with the outcome. and i worked on making the driver door a little easier to shut and open. need a new regulator for the door latch because this one is really loose but after that an another adjustment ill be good as new if not better! passenger one already closes like a dream. |
