Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Thanks ol' rover! I traded a '70 C/10 (SWB, 350, 350 Turbo-Hydramatic, manual steering) even for the Chevelle. I hated to get rid of my truck, but it was one of those deals that was too good to refuse! Afterall, the Chevelle was in MUCH better shape than the C/10. The Chevelle is a true SS (but the original 396 was long gone). It does have the original Turbo 400, posi-track, A/C, PS, PB and a pretty stout 350 which we took from a /90 GMC.

Hey Prostreet67, it looks like you might be at Redline raceway in Caddo mills. Do you go there very often?

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Sorry for the delay, too much overtime!
Guess it will pay for the toys for the truck. I want to change out the interior to black, new chrome rear bumper, and adventually repaint. Got a little rust on the rockers to take care of and where they could not decide which mirror to use. Will paint again orange but "hugger orange" no Corvette orange. Just a touch more red. maybe marker lights. trying to get it close to my Dad's 71 he had before a semi decided to make it a sub-compact. Spring, I'll sand and coat the bed wood to make her shine!! Thanks!1 |
