Im avg. 11mpg according to the guy that posted in my MPG thread 33 miles a day round trip (thats minimum,school and back home)

For me on mpg I try to average a few fill ups. Record your starting mileage. Then on your next fill up, record the mileage and amount of gallons to fill. Then on the next two do the same thing. After the three fill ups you can come up with a good average by dividing the total miles driven by the # of gallons used.

next time to avoid locking up pump the brakes. With standard brakes that keeps them from locking up. On newer vehicles with ABS, the vehicle basically pumps the brakes for you. That's why you will feel the gas pedal "shaking" if you slammed the brakes on a new car. It's basically pumping them super fast.

I didnt know I was gonna lock up lol. I missed him by about 4 inches I bet. I was suprized we didnt hit actually. I did NOT wanna go thru all of that again...At least it would've been my 'bad side' of the truck ha

i always enjoyed locking up the tires it gets peoples attention, i look at abs as something else to tare up and fix, bout like sensors on all this new junk, in tank fuel pumps, electric everything and so on................ my dad worked on cars for 30+ years so i have heard all about it lol

i wouldnt put any of the new stuff on your truck .............. it is runaway c/10 waiting to happen or a truck that always has the brakes locked up..........

Got a parking brake cable on the line!!! Hopefully I that fixed/working in the comming week!

Worked on my hitch today, its REALLY rusty in between the metal (sandwiched). So I cut the welds and and grinding to bettter metal, then welding it all back together, wire brushing and bedlining it, and using GRADE 8 hardware to install it on the truck! Then I'll have to find some 4-5" drop springs and ditch the jeep springs (bottom too easily).

Hubscrub, interested in jeep springs for almost next to nothing?

My vent window thing fell off when I got my truck I found it today.

What do I need to put it back on, some kind of pin? Where can I get one, will a cotterpin work?
