Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
I find them cheap. Time.. is another story.
I've owned a few GM trucks, mostly 4x4's . More like a GM nut over here. Even a few 2wd things. The Nova is a Buddy of mine. I got to drive it a few times. This pic is at Top Truck Challenge in Hollister Hills Last edited by Jsfucttruck; 12-23-2014 at 04:44 PM. |

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Too bad the Thorndirds never worked well. I became a Sx Fan there shortly.
I miss that truck. All I got left is the frame and firewall. |

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
1985 Blazer with Popup Four Wheel camper. Has stove, furnace, water supply, sink, fridge, fantastic fan. It has everything but a bathroom. The military trailers axle was changed and I now run Rally's with the spare under the trailer. It carries my extra water, fuel, generator and supplies for boondock camping.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Sorry, I can not post two pics in one post. This is my 1956. 350 with 350 auto, ps, frt disc brakes. Original 1956 frame with 1979 K-10 axles and transfer case. Air conditioning and new pearl white paint, this is my favorite vehicle to drive, it is like a time machine.
My FJ is 2012 and is keeping low mileage due to driving the 56. |

That's beautiful! I usually don't care for black, too much work for me to keep clean but your paint looks awesome!

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
csmense I almost went for a 55' on a mid 70's frame project like yours but it was an unfinished deal and didn't want to get into that. Yours looks really sweet.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
tuff 71, your truck is perfect. Very nice. I was looking for a truck mechanically done with no money spent on exterior and interior. My friend just laughed and told me people normally get it running but put most of their money into making it look nice initially. I plan on taking it on some long trips (500 miles one way) pulling a 16' Casita. I will use the 4x4 while boon docking to fossil hunt. That is what I use my blazer for too. Love old Chevys.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Yea scmense it was all stock when I got it with a redone interior stock seats with 90's GM fabric and all I had planned to do was add a lift and tires but the next thing I knew it was in a hundred pieces on the garage floor and I ended up putting about 15k in it on top of what I paid for her. So much for the best laid plan eh !! LOL
