I've already got a slot cut out for them where the factory ones used to mount. It should go well with the gauges.

Get going!!!

***

No real visual progress, but I spent all of last weekend trying to remember where I had stopped on the wiring. Here's a small piece of advice to everyone, once you start wiring, you should never stop!!! And make lots of notes and label your wires (especially if you are using them for something different than they were intended for..). This will come in handy if you are integrating a lot of different electronics systems such as - air ride management, electronic gauges, body harness, a/c, EFI, Supercharger, electric fans, ...., .

Anyways, I'm about back to where I left off a year or so ago. Now I'm just trying to figure out the mounting locations of a few pieces such as the PCM and the water reservoir for the Maggie supercharger. If you guys have any suggestions let me know and post pictures. As of right now, I'm going to mount the PCM on the passenger inner fender. It's not to sexy, but it works with the wire bundle and won't require me to redo the wiring.

I also picked up a sponsor for the 2013 Power Tour. Tony at Entropy radiators has really helped me out and he build a really cool product. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up a couple of more to help me finish this beast!

Thanks guys! I got the reservoir and water pump mounted for the supercharger intercooler. Now I just need to get some bulkhead fittings to help clean the way it looks. Also, can someone with a 71 or 72 clip post me some pictures of how the factory ac condenser is mounted? I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to install the intercooler up front. Thanks in advance.

Rob... I have the same motor and supercharger setup for my 71 truck. I was wondering what cam you went with. I know I want to swap the cam... Just not sure what specs I want. Any advice will we greatly appreciated. Build is amazing by the way... Keep it up.

Smoke, I didn't do anything to the motor. It only has 10 mile on it and I plan on driving the suburban cross country, so drivability and dependability are my main focus. Now, my 68 SWB will be a different story.....

Thanks 1Low, I just got my a/c stuff in from Vintage Air (a big THANK YOU to Brando Ott for helping me figure all the pieces out!!) and have it figured out now. Now I need to get an inner cooler that will work with the space I have up front. Here are some pictures.

Hey any chance you can take a pic of the a/c condensor from straight in front and then another from the back that would show the lines and how they pass thru the core support?
Thanks

No pressure or anything, but once you factor in travel time, we've only got about 219 days until the Power Tour. We need updates!

Thanks Jason. Looking forward to seeing what you will do with the 70...

Small update. I finally got all of my A/C pieces in and have been trying to get everything fitted. I went with a Gen IV setup from Vintage Air (thanks Brandon!) and I'm using a Dakota Digital controller that I got from Pro Performance (thanks Travis!). Here's a couple of snapshots of the vents, controller and gauges! Hopefully I will get the Gen IV unit installed this weekend.
