I figured I would post the pics here as well...I have had the black for many years, it has just been sitting for awhile, and now it needs a valve job...I'm gettin this bad boy back on the road...see you out there soon

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Well heres what mainly needs work. The engine before and after. And the interior. I have a seat and gas tank in it now but The engine is shot. 15 years in a barn will do that to ya. But Tomorrow im picking up a 99 vortec 454 so thats going in it. With that the truck and the seat and gas tank and water pump and wires ill have 900$ in it. Give or take a few dollars for misc items i had and didnt have. I have a spare gas tank and seat now though.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Well I am almost finish my scout so I figured I needed another project. So I bought this. I guess I will be here a lot now. It is a 67 3/4 2wd as I am sure most of you know (If not all). It is on a 72 3/4 4x4 frame. I think this is a good thing. runs and drives awesome. when I saw it I had to have it. It was very difficult to get but she is mine now. the work on it seems to be quite well done. But the PO was not mechanical inclined at all so she needs love. So what do the skilled eyes of the board see? I am in big trouble now, the sickness has set in. The truck of my dreams was always a 69 swb 4x4. This is real close though.
![]() Do not tell my wife it is too late..... I already bought 2 more parts trucks. The sickness has set in.......... how do I get the damn pictures on. I can get them small enough??????? Last edited by blackscout; 11-04-2008 at 02:16 AM. |

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
My 67 chevy my grandfather drove for 25 years someday i hope i will get to drive it again, its been about 6 years so far building it slowly as the money comes. Air ride, 2 air zenith compressors ,asco valve block, bags all the way around, cpp notch, cpp 4 wheel disc brakes, rebuilt front end, blazer tank,TBI 350 dressed up to look like the original motor, i want to keep the appearance as stock as possible, but add all of the conveniences that my truck never had, pwr steering, pwr brakes, disc brakes, ac, ah well maybe someday!!! curently trying to figure out how to post build pictures!!!

Hey guys! Here is my 70 project that is been going on for quite some time. Had a bag 90 chevy stepside and trade for this truck was a show winner when i got it but tore it apart cause i saw some stuff i didn't like on it. It is on its third or fourth year being torn down but hopefully will be back on the road soon. Let me know what you think!!
