Congrats! That looks like a really nice place.

You are right that we boomers are the bulge in that part of the health care profession.

Glad she likes it.

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build

Jim, is this a new area completely or a addition to the home she had lived in? It looks roomy and inviting for Family and friends. I'm glad Aggie likes her new home.

Thanks everyone, it is a super nice place. Yes Ray this is a completely new area, just west of the old nursing home. Run by the same people, which are great. They have built 3 homes, and plenty of acres for the additional 7 homes that plan to build...Jim

Thanks joe. She already knows several of the ladies, and good friends with two. Aggie doesn't talk much about other people, will see how it goes...Jim

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build

Like you and I discussed Jim this is a great idea for those that aren’t able to do assisted living. Looks much nicer than a nursing home. Very nice!

Now the providers need living arrangements for aging baby boomer car car guys with a big community shop attached.

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build

Looks like a nice place for her, she should be really happy there.
Is it closer to your house than the last place?

Thanks lower. The new homes are on the same property, but about 1/2 mile from where she was. So really not much difference...Jim

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build

"ON THE ROAD AGAIN". Well, yesterday I took the truck in for safety inspection, got new plates, so I was all set. I drove it today also and put about 30 miles, runs and drives the same, so I'm real happy. After it got dark I aimed my headlights, and took for a short drive. Can see everything great.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to all the members that followed on this sometime, up and down, work to finish it up. Mark and I appreciate all the response that you great guys and gals have shown during this time. I'm sure there will be other improvements further down the road, and it will be posted.

For now, we will continue to follow your builds and adventures...Jim

Oh, I forgot here's a couple pics.

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build

what a complex color that is, sometimes blue and sometimes green. I could swear its either. I love colors like that, like how some red/oranges are.

congrats on driving!

Thanks joe, you are correct, because it is a teal, it seems to change depending on the light, or the camera...Jim
