Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

86 GMC Sierra Classic. AC, pwr windoww/locks, cruise.

350 4bbl, 3spd, 3.73 gears.

Picked her up for 1000, sold the cap for 150.

The bed was in great shape, I think the cap was on her for the life of the truck.

The box off, the running boards went next. The son loves the ol girl.

Hit the neglected paint with some wax.

Threw some 31x10.50s on her...

Here is how she is presently.

I'm converting the interior to Red/Black to match the exterior, instead of the red/burgundy. I plan on repainting her original colors the paint is old and she has a couple of rust spots along the bottom.

BTW: Some beautiful trucks on here!!!

now thats a great lookin project truck need to see some more of those bigblocks on the road. i have a 77 fleetside but im gonna keep mine 2wd. the only prob i have with mine is it drinks oil. But dang is it fast on the road kept up with a new dodge charger R/T between faith south dakota and Mud Butte. at 120 pluss.. the downside the only thing it cant pass is a gas station.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

Here is a picture of my dads 77. He sold it about two months ago after owning it for years. He used it to tow his Avion camper and for a fishing truck. He now has a 2010 Jeep.

The tires are 12-16.5, They were put on the truck in 1982. It came with the old tire sales slip still in the glove box.
