Got a little more accomplished today.
Installed the remaining window regulator on driver's side.
Installed the inside door and window handles w/escutcheons.
Found a busted spring for the driver's side door latch control.
Installed the original (manual) radio antenna.

Drilling the doors would have made me nervous as hell.. Ya did great!

Thanks man! My brother did the drilling btw. We readjusted valve lash (pics above) and replaced the valve cover gaskets with thick Fel-Pro #375-1604 gaskets.

I think your right. Spring break. Those pics are showing for me. Maybe try a different browser. Plan on taking the 71' to its first car wash this weekend (if it doesn't rain) since being painted. I'm getting lazy in my old age

Maybe if it's nice I'll try and snap some pics after the wash. Man, I've still got small stuff left to do. Like put the badges on, hook up the radio, re-torque engine nuts/bolts and change the oil another time after break-in.

I'm going to plasti dip the factory black band around the outside of grill surround and headlight bezels.

I'm not a member yet. My truck is right next to me.
You can't tell - but the pic above is looking in from outside a locked gate/fence off of Dean Ave. I believe it was.

Well, nothing new accomplished lately. When this humidity calms down I'll be out in the garage more. Midwesterners should know what this is. Barn find - literally, an lama barn find in western IA

It cleaned up nicely. I'll try and get more recent pics of it posted.
