Made a Frame today inside the Cab.
This weekend we are going to lift the cab from the chassis
And sandblast it..

Cab has the usual problems, cabcorners/kickerpanels/compleet floor
Firewall/ and some more places..
Cant wait to fix it,and put it back on the chassis.

Some new paint on the bench seat...
Mat black powdercoat on the frame, and pearl blue metalic on the side..

Thanks Jim, I am very happy with the color..
Also finisht the bottom of the Grill..
Was a very rusted piece, took a lot of hours welding and sanding..
But came out perfect..

I am so happy with this color..fits perfect with the chrome...
Today I finisht with the complete seat of the truck..
Tomorrow we are lifting the cab of the frame so the cab
Can go away for blasting, then finaly we can start with rebuilding
The cab..

Hi Root..

This is the original seat that came with the truck, I powdercoat the frame
And repair the side plates and paint them blue.
A friends wife make the new leather upholstery..
Real happy with the way it looks...

I just got home, was working in Russia for the laat three weeks,
And what do I see when I walked in my house.!!!??
Yes more new stuff, my alltman easy latch set has arrived,with the central locking system...

Thanks,, its to bad that I am away from home all the time, now I am
In russia for my work, I stay here 1 month,go back for a week , pick up my
Cab from the sandblaster, bring it to the shop for welding, go back to russia again for a month, and then I will go to Conneticut NY for a week of three..
Thats a better place to be,then russia..
When I am in NY ,I order more stuff by summit,and wil put it in my bagage..
Saves me a lot of money, otherwise summit have to send it to the Netherlands.
Trust me,that cost more then the part alone....

YahamaR1, yes, that stinks, you do get around. At least you get to the states so you can buy some things and not have to pay those high shipping rates.

Yes, I do get around, thats nice,see a lot of countries and I get paid for it.. Hahaha.

Yes, al the typical places are rusted.. I have al the new panels, so we can continue , I will keep you posted,new pictures are coming soon...
