Re: Grey Goose
Well sh-t Del, I finally get it.. that "terra cotta" color wasn't pulled from a froo froo designers color chip book, but right off the Goose itself ... It's plain RUST! Ha! ... ya gotta love a hod rod builder with a sensitive color palette. Nicely done!

Very cool build. Where in Saskatchewan is it headed? I'll have to keep an eye open this summer to check it out in person.

Re: Grey Goose
One more question, I am thinking of doing a similar wheel and a different chevy hub cap to my 72 Suburban and was wondering, do you have any pictures of how you made the hub cap mount to the wheel? I was thinking drilling and tapping 3 holes and making 3 spring clips.

Re: Grey Goose
Hi guys, I just wanted to put a post up and tell everybody how happy, excited, lucky and f*%$ing stoked I am to say I will be the owner of the GOOSE!!! I have always liked these 60-66 Chevy's and have been watching on here for quit some time. I decided I would never find a truck clean enough for my liking up here in Saskatchewan to start with, so decided to find one down south and go from there. I watched Del's builds and knew he was the guy to create what I was looking for! I gave Del a call and discussed my options and we struck a deal. I feel very lucky to have him building this truck for me, I have gave some input on how I wanted it to turn out, but told him I trusted him to do his thing and knew he would create one dam mean ride for me! I couldn't be happier thus far!
Gumbys10---its not going to be to far from you and you will see it cruising the streets of Regina!! |
