Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

I was hoping to find something in yellow, but the price said "Purple works!"

Gotta hate it when it takes up 1/3 of the garage

Can always repaint it. Some Cat, or John Deere industrial yellow would be nice. Easy to find too...

As long as the nail in not the one on my thumb, I'm good.

It is good to have the right hammer for the job though. Here are a few of mine.

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

Well, I'm a Mac guy but I really like the Masters series from Snap on. Here's my newly acquired mac box. I downsized from my 88" Macsimizer to this 67" and boy is it nice to actually be able to walk around this one. I left the automotive field for a better job in robotics a year ago and have finally brought myself to sell the macsimizer along with many of my specialty (when am I ever gonna use this) tools. That and my girlfriend couldnt pull her car in the garage. Not sure how its gonna fit once i havemy bed on, but we'll see. I prefer cabs to cab + chest combo's for the extra workspace but it does get tough to keep yourself from junking up the worktop as you can tell. Hard to get a good shot with the 68 on jackstands but you get the point. And it matches the truck! hopefully i dont fill this one up too soon. i may just get one of the roller cart-drawer combos since it looks like I may not fit all my stuff in there.

This is not mine, not even sure if it would fit in my garage - but had to share.

That is a big box... My Dad has the bottom-right section with a stainless top. Even that is a healthy sized box...

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

Here is my box. Looks like hell... It's been used for general junk storage for years, but I've started the process of bringing it up to snuff.

The bottom is a Snap-on box from my grand father. He gave it to my Dad along with the matching top. While my Dad had it he got the top you see, which is a Dayton. I still have the original top, along with a second bottom box out in the shed for safe keeping.

For now I am just going to replace all the liners, and clean everything. I am really considering repainting them though. Just deciding if I want to go custom, or stick with a Snap-on PPG.
