Hopefully I'll have it out on the street early next year. I'm still trying to figure out the OBDII connector, having problems hooking up the computer.

I hope you figure it out. I am going to be wiring mine tomorrow. I'm not sure about how to wire for sure myself.

Awesome job on the motor! Congrats! Sounds great too.

You and me both today. I ran mine today and got a video too. It's taking for ever to get loaded. All us central OK boys need to organize a meet during 2012. I would like to see your project some day. Bbq can be on the menu we used to meet up occasionally.

Re: Be Gentle. . . I'm an Amateur.

Thanks everybody. I've been pretty busy at work. I can't wait to bleed the brakes and fix the power steering. Then I can hopefully load her up and take her to the body shop.

Sounds like a plan.

Re: Be Gentle. . . I'm an Amateur.

Once you get your truck drivable, come by my house and rev it up or spin the tires out in the street. Maybe that will get my motivation going on mine again.

Re: Be Gentle. . . I'm an Amateur.

I've got a leak where the high pressure line meets the gearbox. I tried changing the O-ring. Still leaking. I'm assuming its a bad seal between the line and the gearbox. Does this mean I need a new gearbox or a new high pressure line?

Re: Be Gentle. . . I'm an Amateur.

I'm contemplating welding in the vent in front of the window. How big of a job is that? Or did you just weld in the piece that is already there?

On another note, I got a new high pressure power steering line made, NO LEAKS so far!

Anyone that did an LS swap on this body, which throttle cable did you use? Or did you make one ( and how )?

Re: Be Gentle. . . I'm an Amateur.

My 2 cents, is I love having my vent. You'd be surprised the amount of air that comes in even with it just cracked and feels great cruising in the spring and fall, hardly a need for the a/c on.

Re: Be Gentle. . . I'm an Amateur.

I unwisely mounted my computer under the vent in the cab or I wouldn't even be thinking about welding it in. It was the only place I could get it to fit with the wires reaching everywhere they needed to be.

Dude, leave the vent! It's great cruising around with it! Move the drain through the inside and out so it doesn't show and keep the vent!

Hood is Back!

I got my hood back a couple days ago. The seam is invisible.

I'm going to test fit the bed then drop if off for paint later this week.

Thanks. I'm glad to see you're tearing back into yours. The winter took it out of me. I'd like to be done by the end of the summer. Ha, we'll see.

Re: Be Gentle. . . I'm an Amateur.

Me too, it is hard to stay motivated. I may have an update on a complete drivetrain in the next month or so. I am just waiting on decisions to be made. I am not sure when mine will be driveable.
