I aint really got anything in the works. I've just simply been messing with my stock ass truck. As it sets, it has 4.3 vortec, with 5 speed. I wanna static drop it, and have 'er riding on 18's, til I get it payed off. Then probably cut it up... But soon enough, shave the 3rd brake light, roll pan, molded tailgate, antenna, I just want a simple clean truck, then when I pay it off. Get a hole buncha power like you're gettin. I'm tellin ya, I'm green man.
Brandon

PS... That truck is my model. Mine is stock height, with 15x8 black rallys... Mine looks the same as that, except mine has black mirrors, chrome bumper and still has the molding for a while. Those are the wheels I want too.

Got a few more updates. Truck is finally on the ground with all four wheels and tires. Got the ladder bars set in the rear and the pinion angles. Still have to do some leveling with the coilovers in the rear. The front should settle down around 1.5" with the BBC496. Pressure washed the bed and used spray in bedliner to coat the bottom of it. Turned out pretty well. I have unitl the 24th of Sept to get it drivable for a local show. The truck will not be finished by no means but you have to set yourself some goals!! Ordered a new grille and headlights. Got the grille to do, front bumper, exhaust and putting the gas tank temporarily in the bed. I want to buff the truck out as good as possible as well. (PAINT SUX ON THIS THING) PICS LATER!!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Looks sweet I really like the look of the big hides on the rear shot. What plans you have for changing the looks of the front of the truck? BTW...is that your garage speakers for the stereo in the garage that is showing to the left of the truck. I bet the neighbors appreciate that cranked up while working late nights out there

ITS ALIVE!! Got the gas lines plumbed into the bed. Right now I am running the stock tank. I still have the 350 in there so Fuel injection runs on a diffrent fuel pump VS the CARB 496 I will be running. Fired right up after sittin for 6+ months!! Got a few other things done today but no PICS as there is nothing to post.

Oh and yes I know the front end is higher than the back. The springs will settle some and the weight of the Big Block will bring it down some too.

Well the drive went good I think!! I took it about a 1/2 mile and turned around and came back. Everything feels ok. Truck didnt even pull to my surprise. I still have to get the front end aligned ASAP. I expected it to be way off as EVERY single part of the front end is new. I just backed it into the garage. Im going to let it cool down a minute then crawl under and check all the bolts and brake line fittings.

Yeah now to clean it up a bit. I noticed the front rotors are puttin off some shavings. I have new Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads up front. I think it just the pads seatin in?? Also one side of the truck is sittin 1/2" lower in the front than the other. I guess Im gonna pull the wheels and check the rotors and the way the spring is turned in the a arms.

Got the new grill in this weekend. I have a checkmate fiberglass cover that I am going to attempt to cut down to fit this truck. It was originally for my 83 Long bed. Did another test drive and took truck to get front end aligned. SO far so good. Going to buff the paint during the week and clean it up some more. Also got a optima battery at Autozone.
