yeah they are very expensive,but unbeatable quality.thought they were made in holland,says so on ID plates on my lifts.

have been working on the shifter and handbrake assembly
and made 2 holes in the floor cover found out i had room enough for the flush fuel cap so i have lifted the fuel tank up 1.1/4 inch more into the frame and hides the tank a little more also been working on the firewall filled up the piece i cut out, to give the right cillinder head some room. also checked how the new doors fit the boddy, well they need some work to get perfect staight and even lines all around |

did some more on the firewall cleaned up all the holes pfff........
also got the new steering wheel in the mail last week could not resist to put it on to see how it looks |

to fix this...
my cab was worse, it had been dropped on the firewall (long story, don't ask) an old time body man helped me straighten the cab blue line is what we had, red line was what we were after white brace is in line where he jacked the A pillar against the lower rear corner of the step well he used a porta power body jack to move the cowl forward might make your rear door seam better too we jacked a lot, problem was we were afraid to go too far we should have gone one more pull of the jack now if i torque the cab on a twisty driveway entry, it chips the paint in that spot

have been working on the left fender today
it had some nasty dent and didnt follow the contour of the door had to tweak the brace to get it back in shape then made a new piece and welded in in the driverside door has a large gap in the rear and doesnt run parallel and needs some adjustment here but will first put the inner and outher roof panel in, that i will get in Monday finaly....... would be better to live in the Usa for that reason also working on the bedwood Some Q. I have been looking for wheels for the Truck seen some nice stuff from Raceline now i am looking for a supplier who has Raceline wheels i have tried Raceline directly, at first they answered promptly with sizes and pricelist. then i send them a 2e email for more specs and that i want to order but got no answer, dead silence since ? does any one know a good supplier i need 2 custom made wheels for the rear thanks Sander, |

had some fight going on with the hood hinges
had 2 new ones but there crap they didnt close propperly. compared them with the old ones and they end up in a whole different angle and dive to deep down and hitting the cowl with hood not even fully closed. ended up with the original hinges and now the hood closes nicely also did some adjustment on the right fender had a large gap it curved out from the cowl till half way the fender here i need to add some matal to line up with the cowl |

I think that is a common problem with these trucks. I had to fix mine in the same place.

today got some parts in inner and outher roof and seats
and checked out how they will look then started cutting up more roof left overs now i have the new inner roof i know exactly what i had to remove all spotwelds drilled out also bought a boattrailer fender will cut it in 2 for the mini tubs |

A wide custom motorcycle rear fender makes a very nice set of wheel tubs. Just a suggestion. Very nice work so far!
