We built that rotisserie twenty years ago in our shop. I have new jacks for vertical adjustment that are still in the box.

Looking good Larry!! It’s about time to get moving on a few things with temps in the 80’s. I have been slacking lately when it’s above 90 degrees. This is gonna be a SHARP truck.

I've driven my red and white truck in your neighborhood a few times lately. I travel Wolf Springs road regularly.

I see it occasionally at Hardee’s at the cruise in as I am passing by. I will stop at some point, the red/white truck is sharp.

Looking beyond good. Nothing on my project will ever compare but I'm gonna drive the snot out of it nontheless - when I get it road worthy.

Re: Arkansas K10

It's a rainy nasty day here today.

The cab is ready for the last prime and sand, I think. It seems every time I go over it I find another blemish.

I bolted a few more pieces on the chassis.

I can't remember why I didn't just put the Cheyenne trim and belt molding and white part of the deluxe paint back on it and drive it.

Re: Arkansas K10

I never seem to stumble over to the four by section and knew I must be missing some good builds. And I was right! I agree you could have played it either way Larry - tune it up and drive it, or pull it all the way apart. But if the color was wrong it would have bugged you and once you decided to paint it, you might have ended up pulling apart all you had done to get it on the road anyway. So I think you just circumvented losing that time by just pulling it apart first. Like my logic?

I made some notes and enjoy seeing the work go together. You didn't mention what you had done with the engine, etc. The carburetor looks like it was rebuilt or restored too?

The engine was reportedly rebuilt just before I bought it. This seller was a straight up kind of guy, but I never take a sales pitch to the bank. I drove it around quite a bit before I took it apart. It drove out so nice I never broke the trans, transfer and engine apart. I had the carb rebuilt for aesthetics. I have had the engine started since I set it back in the frame and it sounded great. If I could get past paint jail I would have it made. All the NOS or restored parts are laying her ready for assembly.

Larry, I'm not sure how I missed this one. Very nice attention to detail and awesome work on it. It's tough finding one of these up here that would have many metal left let a lone markings so it is nice to see where they actually might be.

By the way, beautiful 55 and Vette! We definitely have similar tastes. Haha
