Re: Project "Old Aux"
Maybe a second set of custom wheels isn't such a bad idea for my project!! The rims are perfect!

Re: Project "Old Aux"
The rims look great, but my self I would like to see 14" rotors up front and 16" in the rear. I know you need more up front but this would give a perfect proportion front to rear with your rears rims being 2" larger diameter then the fronts. Just my thoughts

Re: Project "Old Aux"
I was flamed pretty bad once upon a time for suggesting staggered rotor diameters w/the larger wheels getting the larger rotors. Next show I went to I noticed RadRides, AJRS, & other big builders were going for the symmetry as well.

Re: Project "Old Aux"
We have been waiting for backorder parts. (brakes and spindles)
Brakes (wilwood SL6R Front and rear) actually showed up yesterday and the CPP spindles should be another week. So hopefully progress will pick up after we get everything we need. The goal is to have the truck complete by Good Guys Scottsdale in March. Check the porterbuilt website for updates. www.porterbuiltstreetrods.com |

Re: Project "Old Aux"
Well,
We finally have all the parts to get this project rolling. PB finally received the Modular drop spindles from CPP. We needed these in order to mount the front Wilwood SL6R Kit, so the front can't be measured up and fabricated with the claimed change in front track width from CPP. Look for more progress soon. I am hoping to get this truck complete by March 12th 2010. M6Z: I will update pics on the forum so you can check progress from work. |

Re: Project "Old Aux"
I know you guys are dying for some pics. I don't want to show all the chassis pics until the fab work is done.... but these should help satisfy the urge (or make it worse)...
