How old do you have to be to be considered an "antique" truck person?

I've been enjoying reading my way through the thread. I'm a big fan of the "fix and drive, maintain and drive, modify and drive" approach to owning old rigs. Makes for a fun build (and drive) thread.

Thanks! The whole family loves it. This was a picture of the morning back in October when my oldest granddaughter got a ride to school while her baby sister was being brought into the world. She was not allowed in the delivery room or to wait at the hospital to greet her . Thanks to the corona virus . None of us were. So we kept her at our house and I gave her a ride to school instead .

Re: Another Blue Chevy

The last couple of weekends I've dropped the fuel tank I installed last year to put the float in correctly ( 4 hour job on 3-7 ) I had the float on the wrong side of the sender.

Made a little upgrade a couple of weekends ago. I used some Beetle kill pine to make some sideboards.

Thanks Dale . The Wife said "now you need to just buy the new hubcaps", so I ordered them only to be told they're on back order.

Hub caps would be nice. But in my opinion it still looks like a working truck while you're waiting. It looks great!

Frustrated with shipping . I have tracked my caps all around me. They left Oregon on Tuesday AM arrived in Colorado PM and have traveled to Colorado Springs , Salida, Denver and back to Colorado Springs. I live between Salida and Colorado Springs. I hope to get them soon.

Re: Another Blue Chevy

My grandaughter suggested something across the back to keep things from falling out. I said " you mean a tailgate?" . So now I'm working on that.

Re: Another Blue Chevy

Got some hardware on the gate today . I also replaced the bushing in the steering column mount. The third picture is what was on the column for a bushing, some kind of butyl wrap that almost looked like electrical tape.

This trunk was on a trailer at the same corner store as that really cool truck. I had to have it. It fits perfect. And its useful.

No That is the advertisement SIGN for the antique store where we bought the trunk. It used to belong to a friend of mine that sold it to the store to use as a SIGN for their business.
