Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

I have just one question for you Dave - Is there a way I can get the standard 67-72 tank with a .500" fuel outlet instead of the .375"? That is the only change I'll need. I've got a thirsty solid roller 468 BBC and want to make sure she's got plenty to drink

No Problem, if you buy online just make sure you note that in the comments section.

there wont be a charge for that change.

i'll be calling you and ordering a tank. i'm gonna go take some quick measurements off my truck, just to make sure the standard tank will work on my 72 leaf spring gmc. i'm sure it will. i will need a 3/8 npt fuel return fitting welded in.

Thumbs up Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

Just ordered mine - thanks again Dave for extending this offer to us! I also noted the .500" fuel draw on the 'instructions box' from PayPal.

Here's to not smelling gas in the cab everytime I fill my tank up !!!

alot of people just put a 90 degree hose barb and a length of hose on it.

I prefer to use this combination of parts when i can. You can find these at jegs.com

roll over vent part #RCI #821-7021A

and fitting adapter part#JEGS #555-100147
