Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
what did you do for the mounting on the cowl. where you shaved the luvers there are screws that hold it down. are there screws there anymore? this would help a lot because i want to shave mine but this is stopping me. thanks in advance

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
Are you worried about the exhaust messing up the paint? I noticed that there was black from the exhaust on the paint where it exits.

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
I am a dentist but I have been building cars and motorcycles my whole life. My father is the one that showed me how to paint and do body work. As far as the exhaust the motor is super rich so that is why you can see the black near the exhaust. It wipes right off. If I were to run it for a long period of time it may hurt the paint. Only time will tell.

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
One thing I am proud of is although I am a dentist I build my cars and trucks I dont pay someone to build them for me. Not that it is a bad thing to pay someone to build a truck or car for you. I just find it more rewarding to do myself.

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
"I noticed the other chassis in the last couple of pics has a thorbecke bros. rear 4 link kit on it.I have the front drop member & I'm about ready for the rear.Whats your opinion on it. "
I was worth the wait and price. In fact I think they are selling them to cheep so I would pick one up as soon as you can. I have a good friend that knows the owners well and he was saying suicide doors maybe going out of buisness. I hope not because this is a very nice product. |
