Re: Weekly Sightings

Here are a couple I've seen recently around Memphis, TN. Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics I was driving at the time.

Mike,
When you get your parts, I will drag it home the leftovers to rest in peace.

Re: Weekly Sightings

i wouldve never believed id fall in love with a longbed slant nose, but they are digging on me. i got this 68 to get a few things like the tail gate, steering wheel, carb off it(holley), and then sell it to someone wanting a good project and use the money to finish getting my 70 on the road. but once my '70 is running and driving, my next project might just be a slant nose longbed, lowered and stuffed with a bigblock and 4spd.

Re: Weekly Sightings

I see this truck every time I go up to my grandma's, and old car collector owns it. For a while, I thought it was a non-runner, but he's been using it around his farm. Finally had my fiance snap a pic as I drove by slowly like some creeper.

A few months ago, I had thought about stopping by to see if he'd be willing to sell...maybe I still will!

Re: Weekly Sightings

I met the ol' timer that owns this truck at the recycling center a while back. He really doesnt seem to appreciate these trucks very much. And he could care less, that I was driving a restored '70 Suburban (I dont even think he noticed- I am thinking the Burb was offended)
It was just basic transportation for him.

He got it for free from a relative and doesnt want to sell it. (yeah, I couldn't help but ask) haha.

Well, I saw him out and about again today and I decided to grab a picture.
