Yes I do know about that museum. The owner comes to the Tri-State Antique Truck Show in Clearbrook, VA, north up US11 from Winchester near the VA/WVA line. I rolled down there on February day e=with a friend a few years back. We had the place to ourselves along with a personal tour with the on site curator. The best of the best! Looks like my pictures are on my prior 'puter which I hope can be repaired enough to retrieve my folders

Awesome! I'm just going to have to convince the wife we need to stop one day! Our 1 year old already loves anything with wheels so it would be doubly cool to see there. The in-laws are in Powhattan and my folks in Williamsburg so one way or another were pretty much there when we go see them from Warrenton.

It is an American Seeding Machine.
Google says it was a group of small companies that came together in the early 1900s to end competion amongst themselves. It ended up being sold to International Harvester in 1929.

This is is my 49 M. It is stuck and been on a PB Blaster IV drip for 8 months.

I believe the M replaced the LA. The LA had 10 hp the M close to 20hp. I bet it beat looking at the behind of a horse by far.

Finished assembling a soft cab made by Original Cab Company in Indiana. I added some LED cab lamps and a small heater that came with the cab. The heater is wired to the battery and the power light on the unit stays lit so I’ll splice in a fuse or switch to toggle that off when not in use. Also bolted on and greased the snow blower. Ready for a blizzard now.

Those are all nice and all handy. But that 4x4 Ford is cool! Great size.

Yes that is a Nelson 4WD with 4 wheel steer and a chain drive.

I loved that show. So many great characters.

That Ford with 4x4, water in the tires and the wheel weights tips the scale at 12,500 ish. It also has the 8x8 transmission

Here's one that I put together over 20 years ago. Has the 60HP flathead with stainless steel water jackets in it to keep the hood and tractor the same length as original, also has the high and low range transmission in it.

How do SS jackets keep the hood and WB the same?

You did a mighty fine job with that. Looks as built the way you did it.

Now this is a tractor, even though I'm not sure when the term tractor came about. Most steam powered were just called steam engines because they were used for stationary power as much as for pulling
