Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck
I cut off the rivets, attaching the extension to the frame, swapped the extensions around. I added 1 1/4" square tubing. Just have it dry fit now. Will have to weld on some plates for the bumper brackets. Should work out

Very cool build. I'm liking that you're making more of the stuff yourself vs outsourcing. I love seeing people getting their own wheels turning. Subscribed for sure.

Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck
the gauge cluster turned out just the way I wanted! I was going to install the tach I have but I'm going to hold off, possibly get 2 gauges in there. I was thinking a tach and a fuel pressure gauge to monitor the output of my low pressure fuel pump.

Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck
I have been working on wiring up the last tail tight with the LED board. Just on my way back from Vancouver with some parts I picked up at KMS tools. I got the inside front fender support patch panels for both the front fenders, hoping to get to those in the next few weeks. Also got some backing plates for the rocker fix. That is the plan for this next week, got time off and going down tomorrow. I hope to get the rear bumper mounted, both rockers repaired and some sheet metal repairs done. Also scored a used Crome front bumper, hopefully the right year this time hahahah. Updates to come

Down island for the week, time to get some tasks knocked out! First things first, I just had to see how the gauge cluster looked in the dash.

Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck
Next on the list for the dash. I figure I would install the "wait to start" indicator in the ash tray opening.
