Gonna post some progress. I finished cleaning the frame and underside tof the cab. Painted and seam sealed, painted frame where cab will set.

Reinstalled cab with new mounts etc. And decided to try and mock up engine and trans.

Built some motor mounts and mocked them up. Not a professional job but I made with what I had and a welder and a grinder. I'm not as happy with the driver side it was a little different mounting wise but I think I'm gonna leave it.

Got the trans crossmember fitted and welded on some mounts and mocked in place. It came from speedway motors universal 2in drop crossmember very happy with it.

engine mounts look fine. curious what your driveline angle is now. angle at pinion should match but be opposite the angle at the trans. that way the vibrations cancel each other.

if you needed to by steel for that i suggest square tubing with a decent wall thickness, then cut one side off to open it up. works well.

I like the amount of space the 6 cylinder gives for the steering column to rack gives, should be a straight shot.

Thanks, I haven't welded the rear end perches in place yet so I can set it to a happy angle.
