http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=691278 You might get lucky here. I am not going to have any for months. I cannot say when the next coil spring truck is going to be slated for parting and then, I have to hope they are good. Good luck with your search, Thomas |

Re: 67-72 cross members
Thomas,
Interested, is it ok if I see photo first before saying yes. Or are they same condition as mine without the wear on roller bearing hub surface, then I will take them. Les |

Re: 67-72 cross members
Thomas, I am needing rear frame cuts for a 72 lwb 4wd. Just bare frame rails, no hangers or mounts. I would love to have from the bumper all the way to just in front of the large "mid" crossmember, but I realize that shipping may dictate length. I could even possibly use some sections from one you've cut up already if that's an option. What have you got? Thanks! Todd. Ship zip 64029

Re: 67-72 cross members
Thomas,
If the bearing surfaces are good I will take them, and PayPal you the funds. Thanks for posting the photos. You can pm information. Also need a rear spring shackle for a '64 K10, casting number 3726902, and have thread/photos under 4x4. Will check, think it is right side. Les |

I will be more than happy to take care of your needs on Monday. We are closed for the weekend. The bearing surfaces are in excellent condition and will work very nice for you. Not sure on the 64 K10 shackle, I will have to check on Monday. Thank you and have a good weekend, Thomas |

When you say " large "mid" crossmember" are you talking about the one right near the rear (forward position) spring hanger? That would be a lot to ship. Currently I only have a short (front to about the engine cross member) piece for the drivers side. I do have a K10 that is going to get parted but have no idea when. We have about 15 trucks at the shop to part and more elsewhere. Most of the time we cut the frame up for the cross members and spring hangers. It will take extra time to save the rails or even pieces of them to avoid damage at rivet holes. If you are looking for something soon, I will not be able to help you. I will keep it in mind when we part this truck. Thank you, Thomas |

Re: 67-72 cross members
I assumed that the frame rails were probably casualties to harvest the bracketry to sell. That is the crossmember I am speaking of. I have not measured how long the frame rail would be to that point. But with no brackets, I assumed the rails could be strapped together or shipped individually. Kind of like shipping a rear suspension arm? I will continue to search locally, and watch your posts to see when you get close to parting a K10. Thanks!

Re: 67-72 cross members
Any chance that you have a set of the reinforcement plates that are riveted to the inside of the frame next to the cross member?
Shipping to 08620 Thanks Chuck |
