I hear you man, there's time where things are going super fast and getting work done and sometimes you get a slow point and got to set aside cash for the next thing.

was at the swap meet yesterday and made a score on some super clean bumper guards! Picked up the whole bumper for $10. Had some issues removing that "one" bolt from the bumper after trying everything i could think of It was time to get serious so got the grinder out and went to town! Which I won and then polished em up and sprayed the rubber inserts. now I just got to get some new bolts and put them on

Thanks! I got them put on today can`t seem to find the cord for my phone so pics will have to wait but I am really happy how they look on the truck.

That it would but I shall leave the painted chrome to someone else. IMO chrome is king!

Painting the bumper guards. That's an interesting idea. I don't think I've seen that before....I'm wondering what it will look like on the truck...

looking at the front end of your truck mad this question come to my mind. what works best to polish chrome? like what kind of buffer or buffing wheel and what kind of compound? and sorry for getting off topic.

don`t sweat it. i just use turtle chrome polish and a microfiber cloth. It cleans and shines very well from my experience.

It definitely turned out AWESOME!! I like it so much because it mainly something I've yet to see on any square! Plus it gives it a POP to make it stand out, you did an awesome job man! Kudos to you my friend

I'm not going to lie I really don't like the bumper guards at all but with yours painted it looks soo badass! I really think I might do mine, but in BLUE!!!

I need to go shopping, I keep looking at those bumper guards and they keep looking cooler and cooler, maybe I'll go buy some blue paint and go to town on my bumper guards but I think I'm going to do a little bit of a twist and actually paint my bumper black since afterall my color combo is pretty much black and blue.

Any updates on the truck?

That would look sick! If i didnt love chrome as much as I do i would paint my bumpers

Holy cow! 2013 was last time I posted?!

I hope everyone has been doing good and working on those trucks!

Well the truck has been sitting in the same spot since then up until a few days ago. I moved around a lot and bounced around different jobs and got married! Even moving into a new house house all we had was a carport. Due to city laws I couldn't keep my truck at my house and work on it. So I have been looking for a garage for a while now and finally found one.
Which means work can resume on Lil` Red after 5 years! I am ashamed of myself really.
I will post some pics shortly because everyone like pictures!
