Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God!

In '68 I was a senior at Hollywood high school. One day sitting on the Sunset lawn at lunchtime, I saw a new Chevy truck roll by in traffic. I thought, "Damn, they finally stopped making ugly trucks!"

Hard to believe I'm that old but still having fun going to the swap meets and junk yards. My truck projects take a little longer all the time but I still have several trucks I would like to build - a 67 Panel and a 46 Panel(which I have).

Keep on Truckin'

1967 . . .

I was a sophomore in high school. Mom just sold her 1965 Plymouth Fury ex-state police cruiser with a 383 before I got my license (it was @ 15 yrs 9 mos back then in New Mexico). She then got a '62 f**d Falcon station wagon with a small six and an automatic. UGH! But I was glad to get to drive it when I could. The next year I got my first set of wheels, a Harley Davidson Sprint 250. Well used, it cost me $75.

I started to keep writing . . . this really brings back memories, but they are most likely not as entertaining for y'all as they are for me.
