Re: '72 Drop member... "Betty"

Alright guys, couple of questions.

1. What kind of luck have you had with carpet from brothers, LMC etc. Should I get from there or have a local upholstry shop do it to ensure fit and size.

2. Should I put vent windows in first on door glass first when I reassemble the doors?

Re: '72 Drop member... "Betty"

I personally like the carpet by TrimParts. It fit nicely and only required a little trimming. They even make one that's long enough to cover the old gas tank location for those that take the stock tank out of the cab.

As for the glass... I haven't done it in a C/10 yet, but I'd suggest putting the vent window in first, but leave it loose. You could put the door glass in after, but you'll have to get it completely inside the door to turn it and put it in the run channel. You could probably set the door glass in the bottom of the door first, but I'd be very careful not to damage the door glass when putting the vent window in.

Just my thoughts. I'm sure there are people who have done it and could tell you a better way.

Have you unmasked the dash yet? I'm curious how it looks without the paper. Everything's looking good! Keep it up.

Beautiful. Good choice. How was the price compared to Raceline or intro?

Glad you like them. Price is about $100 or so Better than racelines probably 150 intro. The quality is probably not as good but they are really close. I'm super happy with them

Thank you everyone. I haven't got a lot done because I'm so busy at work. I'm so excited to get this thing finished. Hopefully the cab can go back on soon so it looks like progress. Haha

Re: '72 Drop member... "Betty"

Love the valve covers from PML.
What do you plan to do for a PCV valve?
I didn't see them drilled in the pics.
