Re: Project: Rufus Restoration
Made a trip home to see the folks this weekend, and spend a little time with my old heap and was able to make some huge progress!!! First off, we got the majority of the new wiring harness installed. It's a classic update kit from AAW, and I must say, it definitely wasn't as complicated as I was expecting. This allowed me to drive the truck out of the garage on it's own power for the first time in over 2 years! Of course, I still need to clean up the wiring, wire all the lights, radio, cooling fans, etc., but this was a major accomplishment for us. Also fabbed up a little fuel filler box for the corner of the bed this past week while I was bored. It's not the fanciest thing, but it appears to serve it's purpose, so I'm happy with that.
Here's a LINK to a running video since having the exhaust installed. Enjoy. |

Re: Project: Rufus Restoration
Man Jason I havent touched the dually in a while, I've had too much other stuff going on at the shop. As far as the workday we don't have a June date yet but we will be having one for board member Jmsanders. It will be in Lebanon. Check the TN region for a thread!
