Also how do you like the 245/60/15 and
275/60/15 BFG Radial TA's? Do they rub any? Sorry for all the questions. I'm trying to do this all right as I'm still in high school and don't want to spend money so much money whenever I could have done it right the first time!

Thanks!
Questions are always welcome. That's how you learn.

Unfortunately i have only drove it about five miles since it was done. It went straight from alignment shop to the paint shop. What little i drove it i was impressed with the lowering kit and sway bar.

Look a few posts back and i have a picture of the correct way the sway bar goes in. Easiest way for me to get the factory rivets out is to cut an X in the top of the head and knock it off with an air hammer.

The tires fit well. No rubs at all. It does create about 3/4" tire rake using this setup.

I have 15x8's all around. Alot of people run a 7" front, but 8" is what i had and couldn't see buying new ones. They fit good and have no clearance issues.

Good luck on the build!

I wondered how long that question was going to take...

I was not happy with the paint on the inside of the bed. It had a few scratches and dents on the inside of bed I wanted fixed before I get it out this spring.

I am too picky some times.

I am about ready to get me a patina'd truck so i don't have to worry about little bumps and scratches!

Why not do a "before and after" handling comparison? When I used the ECE anti-roll barand 3.5/5 in drop kit and super trac bar I found the truck cornered as well as my old C4 Corvette!

It did handle and corner much better. But the ride was stiff to say the least.

that lowered look sure takes some time getting used to.

I woild have spent some time lining up the side trim between the front fender the door and the bed

I guess you missed where he said it's in the paint shop? No need to bother the trim if it's coming off anyway for paint.
The lowered stance isn't for everyone. Some of us love it. There's room for everybody on these forums.

I'd drive the wheels off that truck, slightly misaligned trim and all!

Love your truck! Looks awesome! Do you have any tire rub issues, or bottoming out? I would like to do this same combo to my truck as well. Just wondering. Mike

No tire rub or bottoming out issues. They ride is definitely stiffer then stock. But looks much better.

Re: "Brass Monkey".....Installing 4/6" ECE Drop Kit

Looks good.Nice thread. Would be interesting to check fuel mileage before/after, getting a brick closer to the mortar effect! Does it launch better? I had a lowered s-10 sucked trying to jack it up. I prefer to throw a 2ton lowering kit on my "truck" Once again looks good nice build, good luck

Man that's a nice lookin truck. Great color. When I first saw this post awhile back I though, man I wouldn't mess with those looks. But now that you've dropped it my mind is changed. Looks great on that 4/6 drop. Any interior pix ? Keep up the great work !

Never did a fuel mileage on it. I never tried to launch it. Just an old ice cream getter.

Thanks, It was nice to meet you the other day at the Nashville truck show. I wish i would have taken the C10, since the Blazer trade didn't work out.
