Well it's not the best pic cause the truck is fairly low and the light is dim, but here's a mostly finished rocker.

Are you going to mod the crown/top and still be able to use stock glass?

The front windshield and back window will remain stock glass. We are making a one piece window kit for the doors custom. The top corners on the doors will be rounded and the front and back window will be flush mounted. The rear cab seam will be removed and we will be installing our rear roof filler panel to create a rounded roof section. The drip rail will be eliminated on the roof

If you lay the windshield back is it going to affect the position of the dash?

The windshield is layed back and the dash is in perfect condition with no issues at all.The part we lay back so you know is the pillars and the top portion on the windshield. The lower part remains the same with no issues at all.The factory glass will go in the same way it did from the factory. We have done over 35 of these trucks the same way for customers with no issues.

Here's a quick look at it before it's finished. You can see how the rear window stays full size, and how the windshield is leaned back. Like Justin said, the dash isn't affected so long as the pillars are relieved correctly.

I'm sure there is more than one of us that is curious about how exactly to rake the windshield back and still have the OE glass fit. Could you share some more details and pictures of how this mod is accomplished? ...Please...

The roof should be pretty close to being finished up today I think. The flu knocked a few of our guys out of commission yesterday unfortunately, but we'll be back to our regularly scheduled program this morning.

Pretty neat. What's the total # on the chop? 3/4" or so? Obviously the upper door frame needs to be modded to match? Slick work!

Re: Goodguys 2015 Giveaway C10 by Scott's Hotrods

In total, the windshield is laid back 2-3/4" and the total chop is 1-3/4". In the earlier pictures the windshield wasn't fully laid back yet. Here's the final height.

Once the welding and cutting started to happen, it was apparent that some more rust repair needed to be done. Since that was happening anyhow, Justin decided to take out the hard edge and smooth it out a bit.

Here's some more pictures.

The new windshield channel we are showing here was also made to give the front edge of the top a better profile than stock when you shave off the drip rail.More pics will come later on.
