Re: 63 C10 SWB Dropmember Build
Looking good.. Now I need to invest in a lift cause that looks so much nicer than using a rotisserie to lift a cab and install it.

I was a little uncertain on the darker satin black interior, but think it will be Ok. Most of these trucks you see, are with lighter color interior. We will use some lighter colors elsewhere inside to break things up. Th lift does make it easier, but it is a 4-post.... a 2-post would have been ideal. It would make it a little easier when dropping the cab on the chassis. |

Re: 63 C10 SWB Dropmember Build
Was able to get some more work done on the truck this weekend, and this will be how the truck will go to Dallas Goodguys for our display. Really excited about seeing it come together, and is definitely motivating to have the cab finally back on. Still a lot to do though.
We did buff out the cab's original paint, and it shined up pretty well, but still has it bumps and scrapes to give it some character. I don't think the original wheels we planned for will work, due to the backspace availability on the dished center. Looks like we may change to a traditional 5-spoke wheel, but will still give it that classic old-school look. Here are some pictures from the weekend's progress. |

Love it! Looks killer. I like the stance, the color and the interior. Sweet combo!

Re: 63 C10 SWB Dropmember Build
Hey Travis!
The truck is looking really sweet! Are you sure that the carpet isn't ACC? I was trying to do a search, and that is all that I could come up with...

Re: 63 C10 SWB Dropmember Build
Cool Travis!
I'm gonna hit them up for some grey & silver samples to match up to my paint & seats. It looks like they have 21 different greys in their cutpile selection...Holy-S! I'm wonderin if they can just match the color carpet in the car that my seats came from? Thanks for the lead!

Re: 63 C10 SWB Dropmember Build
Thanks!.... I get so busy working on it, I forget to take pictures along the way and only grab a few when the work day is done. lol
I will have some more soon, since we will have the actual wheels for it this weekend. The ones on the truck now are just rollers. |
