Well I just turned 18 and I am getting more involved into trucks everyday. I have had my 1980 scottsdale for over a year now and it has come a long way. When I got it from my uncle, it had one of those tommy lift gates on it!! Well I am graduating high school in May and then I am off to Arizona State University where I will be studying business. Me and my friends are all into trucks and we love working on them. I am getting my truck painted white in a month or so once I finish the body work and I am constantly thinking up ways to continue to customize it.

18 years old. (That means no more fun ).

Bought my first truck (66 C-10 short step) when I was thirteen and got my 72 when I was 15. Currently the 72 is awaiting a frame-off and a new body. My driver is a '99 Sierra I bought 6 or 7 months ago. So far it has a shaved tailgate, Sir Mike's roll pan, choice of a Trenz billet or Street Scene speed grille, smoothed and painted dash, DJM 4/6 suspension, and a Borla Pacesetter exhaust. 20/22 inch combo and tribal ghost flames will be done by the end of June.
I've been a mechanic since I was a junior in high school. But left after an altercation with the Talbot county sherriff last October occured and really pissed me off. Since then Ive done cable work and am now in auto body supply sales but I'm trying to get into painting....

46,married,divorced,married,widowed,married for the last 7 years(nearly 8) to a woman who generally tolerates me.I am the father of 3 lovely Yorkshire Terriers and a bona-fide car nut.I have loved the 67-72 trucks since they were new, but I enjoy street rods, customs, muscle cars, motorcycles, boats and planes. If I lived where there was snow I would probably be into snowmobiles.Tim Taylor is a man after my own heart except that my junk generally works.
I also enjoy reading all kinds of stuff.I read sci-fi(not fantasy),western lore, indian lore and history, all kinds of automotive stuff and just general novel type stuff.
I have been an "Industrial Maintainence Technician" for the last 27 years in various plants in Tx(home) and now in Ga.I also collect antique and unusual technical textbooks.

"gosh darn,I'm a lot more interesting and complex than I thought I was!!"

34 years and 363 days Married for 10 years with a little guy on the way (due May 19th)! Part of the new economy, "I is a College Student." Have an advertising degree from Texas Tech, and in May an English degree from University of Texas. Hopefully come Fall, I will be enrolled in the College of Engineering at UT. Funny thing is, I never was that fond of school...Guess I'm just a sucker for punishment!
My Dad bought the Jimmy in 1977 with 113k on the clock, and drove it daily until it was clobbered by a stinkin' Lincoln in 1987. I "inherited" it at 248k miles. I actually learned to drive in the truck when I was 12 way back when in 1980.
