Fabbed up a new mid plate... a little Halloween humor. Machined an adapter for the tail shaft of the 4L80e to mount a laser. Hope to have the motor and tranny fully installed by weeks end.

A little update... back with some more updates next week

Always something... Exhaust! Needed to make some room for it to get thru and not hang low below the frame. The crossmember will also be the lower anchor point for the mid plate frame. Should have it bent up and in place by the end of the week.

Hey Craig thank you, I follow your build... great work!

Ok got it bent up and in place... this motor install is taking a lot of time. Can't wait to start work on the cage.

Re: 66 Pro Street Build (Domeringer)

Weekly report...

Finished mounting the motor and 4L80E Transmission. Machined some threaded bungs... 10 bolts and the motor and tranny can be pulled forward and out.

Moving on to the chassis strengthening, cab mount and roll cage ... lots of tubing to be bent and welded. Got a start on it and then the weekend came to an end. More next week!

Some progress... finished up the inner chassis tubing. The stock oem rubber tranny mount arrived today, but didn't have time to get it in place. Flipped the cab on it's back and had to laugh... the front and back cab mounts on the drivers side were repaired with plastic sheet, bondo and undercoat. Lots of work to do to repair the floor of the body.
