Re: Let's see some van love!
Interesting mrtoni!
The sellers were very nice folks. Let me come and look, even let me do a little cleaning before we talked turkey. I paid and came back a week or so later to pick it up. It needs a little tidying. |

Re: Let's see some van love!
That Rallye Van package was cool. I just missed buying a short original paint Nomad with plaid seats a handful of years ago. I think it was a '78

Re: Let's see some van love!
I'll post an interior shot when I get it cleaned up better. It does have the plaid in pretty good shape. The SPID calls it "avocado".
Is the ochre van yours? |

^^^ The paint sure doesn't match on the hood but the stripe does. Nice touch!

Re: Let's see some van love!
Hope everyone came out of it ok. That bumper looks like it absorbed quite the hit.

Re: Let's see some van love!
The van has been making a noise for a while, sounded like whistling. Well a few days ago it turned into screaming. Opened everything up and looked for the noise but couldn't see it. Took off the belt and ran it, no noise. Idler pulley was bad.

Re: Let's see some van love!
The pulley went idle on you
I guy I know in town has had a short Dodge van for sale and I've been meaning to stop to talk about it. It's pretty cool, stands out. Solid burgundy with a conv van style (tall) window near the rear corner, small luggage rack (maybe ladder), and looks like 8" steelies (silver) with dog dish caps all around. I'll get a picture driving by at least Meanwhile, did I show these pictures yet?
