No Problem, if you buy online just make sure you note that in the comments section.

there wont be a charge for that change.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

i'll be calling you and ordering a tank. i'm gonna go take some quick measurements off my truck, just to make sure the standard tank will work on my 72 leaf spring gmc. i'm sure it will. i will need a 3/8 npt fuel return fitting welded in.

Dave - Thanks for your help yesterday. Your help in pointing me to the Group Buy was stand up and something you didn't have to do. Thanks again.

Thumbs up Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

Just ordered mine - thanks again Dave for extending this offer to us! I also noted the .500" fuel draw on the 'instructions box' from PayPal.

Here's to not smelling gas in the cab everytime I fill my tank up !!!

alot of people just put a 90 degree hose barb and a length of hose on it.

I prefer to use this combination of parts when i can. You can find these at jegs.com

roll over vent part #RCI #821-7021A

and fitting adapter part#JEGS #555-100147

Dave,

I bought this set-up shortly after I received my tank over 12 months ago only to later realize this must have been posted before you supplied a vent since the thread size on this is different than the vent thread size you supplied with the tank I received. I plan to plug my return opening since I don't need it, so my question is which vent is better - this vent from JEGS or the vent I received with the tank?

Thanks,
Shawn

Dave, I got a question, what fuel pump would you suggest for your FI tank? Intank or external?

Thanks

If you purchase a EFI tank from us then it will be an internal Walbro GSS-342HP

if you wanted to use a standard tank and your own inline external pump we just need to put a return on the tank for you.

hope that helps
