Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
I think it looks good the way it is. why not stay with the wheels you have? they're a classic, and look like they belong on the truck.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Your truck looks absolutely sick. I have a 72 Cheyenne Super I'm resto-modding and was unsure about sticking with the two tone. After seeing your truck there isnt a doubt in my mind. Also, congrats on the new one, my son is 9 months old and will get my Super when he's old (and mature) enough to enjoy it. Keep up the good work, I'm drooling.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Well she is all finished up for the time being time to start driving it and breaking the motor in. Right now I am just thinking what wheels to choose which I will make a descision soon I hope.
Things to do: Wheels and tires Back to the body shop to repaint doors, fenders and bed Do a mild stereo Well here she is all cleaned up and ready to drive it home. The drive home was beyond words every lite people admiring, thumbs up it drove awesome and I could actually see the gas needle go down as I pressed the accelerator...

Let me know if you decide on some new wheels and tires. I'd like to potentially buy the ones you have now. Glad to see it all together. Looks great.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
After driving the truck a few days here and there I brought it back to my shop to rejet the carburator which was five minutes to do. I also had the same ol tires balanced and the truck aligned. The aligment on this is a royal pain since we dont ever see this kind of suspension. Anyhow lets see how the bucket drives and hopefully nothing else will surface.....
