from Porterbuilt same 4 link that comes with his rear dropmember, for the parts i got(i dont know if he gave me a break when i ordered with my front DM and hood hinges, swaybar) around $500

got the 4 link bolted in , pulling a donor rearend out of another truck to use mine is to narrow going a little wider .. hopefully more progress this week!!

I thought narrow was better, that means more room for a deep dish rear wheel set!

i am not getting rid of the one i am taking out just in case i ever have the money to buy some custom made billet wheels !! i am not to keen on spacers, i think my rear wheels set in to far without them , and my disc brake brackets rub on the insides of my rear inner fenders (if i understand correctly the 67-68 rearend is about 1-2 inches narrorer)

Yes, 6x-early 70 housings are about 1.5" shorter vs. mid-70 & later.

got my 255-40-20s on the front still havent cut out the inside of my fenders to set the front down, waiting to get the rearend welded in

yes its a porterbuilt 4 link, you can get a weld on or bolt on to the axle, mine is weld on just havent got it welded on yet,hopefully in the next couple of weeks the rear stepnotch and all will be done

i made the patterns up and Charles at Mayhews Racecars welded it up he is doing my wiper cowl next , he does great work, thanks for the compliments
