You gonna be taking this to cruise nights in Escondido through the summer? I'm moving back to Oceanside in May it would be cool to see this in person.

Re: 68c10/c6

I was wondering if you are using wheel spacers with those wheels? If so, how thick?

Re: 68c10/c6

No I'm not! The stock Vette width is perfect for this truck although I do have just enough space for Z06 wheels which is what I'll be using on this truck!

Any updates on the video? Awesome build. Did you use the vette clutch and brake pedal?

Re: 68c10/c6

My thought on this build is to keep it as factory as possible! I have the vin# to the donor Vette as well as the truck so that say someone driving it X-country and something goes wrong you can go in to the dealer or auto part store and get the parts! I like to build them to drive.

I expressed interest in this door repair in your other thread but your pic's don't show a lot of detail, hope you don't mind a few questions..

Origionally the doors have a outward curve on the body line maybe a 1/4" out further in the center then front to back. I'm wanting to try and retain that curve in my door, i cut it about 1 1/2" below the body line and it sunk inward under stress.

Did you cut right on the body line? below or above? when you cut it did the door skin dish inward under stress? Thanks!
