I had someone wanting the seats mounting brackets, but the seat itself hasnt had any takers. In fact, the guy on the bracket hasn't replied either. Would you want to pick up or have it shipped. Philly is about 6 hours from Beckley.

I've never even noticed these lights. Where are they located? I did see the light that goes in the heater, but I didn't pay attention to any others.

How much for the seat, and what does the mount look like on the passenger side? Do you live near a greyhound bus terminal

How about the reinforcement plates on the back of the doors

I just messaged the guy who had dibs on the brackets to see if he still wants them. Would you want JUST the seat minus brackets if he wants the brackets?

There is a greyhound station in Beckley (i think it's still there). The seat that is in good shape is the passenger seat. I'd like to get $50 for it -minus the bracket, ($75 with the bracket), but I have no idea what the shipping would be. I am sure it would be quite a bit cheaper minus the bracket.

Where are the reinforcement plates on the back of the door? Are they in the door or the door jamb? I am sure they are still there.

Re: Parting a complete 1971 Blazer 4x4

Some Blazers had under dash lights mounted on each side near the pulls for the kick panel vents. These would illuminate when the doors opened. Should be easy to locate if these are there....

Jeff, i would interested in just the seat. If you cut the hog rings on the bottom side flap vynil, you will have access to the mounting screws toremove the back. You can now ship it in two pieces. Soak the scews with PB Powerblaster for a couple days, if you cant get them out, just drill the phillips head, and ill deal with them

The reinforcement plate is located at the back of the door, by the closer. Dont drill the spot welds, just cut it larger with a sawsall. About a 1/2 " Larger on all sides

I ran up last night and brought back a large load of parts. I brought the seats home with me, so I will try to take them apart this week.

I am pretty certain my dad said he cut the cable. Are you still interested in the assembly?

haha, ironic. I just pulled it out of the parts bin last night to hang on to it. I noticed mine doesn't have one. I am considering fab'ing a set of interior side panels, so I may not need it. I'll let you know.

Are you gonna pick them up? If so, then how about $50.00 for the radiator and the armrests.

Armrests are in real good shape.

pics...

Radiator
The dark marks on the top is where some anti freeze spilled out when I pulled it out of the trailer. I don't think it's leaking because it was full when we pulled it out.

I picked the handles up on Tuesday, but I just got a box big enough to fit the shifter today. They should go out tomorrow. Thanks!

It may take me a week or so to get them. The windshield frame is still in WV. Did you look through the 140+ photos in the photobucket link on page 1. There is some photos of that area, but nothing specifically targeting the point above the vent window.

Re: Parting a complete 1971 Blazer 4x4

You know I only need the knob on the Tcase shifter and not the entire shifter right?
