Not MINE.

I took my wife up to Big Bear this weekend for our 6th Anniversary, and saw this guy pulling into the hotel we were staying at. I asked him if I could snap a picture of his truck... Semper Fi, Marine!

I'm new to the site and about a year into the build. This is my 61 4x4 which was used as a school bus in Nebraska for over 30 yeas. I hope to have it back together and in one color other than primer by spring.

I wonder whether or not that it is a GMC or a Chev(not that it matters) as it is sporting both a GMC grille and a bowtie emblem on the side + a chev hood

It's probably a Chevrolet due to the double hump dash. GMC's had single humps.

Re: Let's post 60-66 SUBURBAN Only Pictures

Can't seem to load pic from cell phone. But I got my front drop member installed and FE reassembled w/ airbags. Ride height puts front bumper 6 1/2" off the ground. Built the whole thing in house only bought the bags to finish. Will finish gussets and post pics later.

Re: Let's post 60-66 SUBURBAN Only Pictures

My '66 project. My dream is to have it driveable by spring, but reality is probably something more like 'sometime this decade'. I'm a complete newb to this kind of work, so it will be slow going, lots of mistakes, etc.

I have wanted a suburban forever, just never thought I would be lucky enough to find one I could afford! This, too, started its life as a school bus, and owes many thanks to that life for the minimal Missouri rust!

Crossmember raised lower control arms 3", relocated factory upper control arm mounts, moved whole suspension forward 1" and added rack and pinion steering. All crossmember and brackets made in-house. Starting on rear suspension tomorrow and raising engine 1 1/2" for better rack clearance and also to level the engine F to R better. Still hoping to hit the All Truck Nationals in KC this year. Building her '59 Ford at the same time,so trading off on projects.
