Texas Speed stroker kit with Weisco pistons
Howards Rattler cam 226/234 @ .050 .525 lift
Stock heads rebuilt
Holley 4150 style mid rise intake with fuel rails and Fast 39 lb LS7 injectors
Holley polished universal throttle body on top
Doug Thorley 1 7/8 Tri-Y mid length headers
2 1/2 inch exhaust with H-pipe going into Thrush Rattler mufflers

Assembled the front clip today and hooked up the lights. Its finally starting to look like a vehicle.

Thank you. It was a lot of fab work but really wasn't that bad. I'm just glad that part of the build is behind me LOL

Last week while on vacation the Suburban touched the ground for the first time in almost 10 months. Got to drive it for the first time. Runs and rides great! This week I'm just trying to wrap up a few minor things and Friday morning we are off to Good Guys in Columbus OH.

2 1/2 drop spindles from ECE with 2 inch drop springs from CPP

The trip to Good guys in Columbus was great ! Bad news is when I got home the trans was leaking and had to be pulled out and sent back to the shop. Turns out that the bushing behind the converter chipped off somehow and got so hot it welded itself to the snout of the converter and had to be removed with a puller. The shop installed a new pump, bushing, and converter. Installed the trans last Friday and all is well. Shifts good and NO LEAKS. Now I'm ready to go to the Rockabilly Ruckus this Saturday !! Hopefully the new build bugs are out of it for good (fingers crossed lol)

Making a change in the engine compartment. Removed the Holley coil covers and opted for Billet Specialties LS Retro BBC valve cover adapters

No problems at all. Most of my install was plug and play with a little wiring. The setup was a little confusing at first but once I figured out how to navigate the setup menu it was pretty easy
